Give to the Vaccine Center

The Emory Vaccine Center (EVC) is an epicenter of academic research focusing on the development of vaccines against chronic and infectious diseases and is the largest and most comprehensive academic vaccine research center in the world.

The Impact of Giving:
  • Turns bright ideas into pioneering studies by providing seed funding to young investigators.
  • Purchases costly, cutting-edge equipment, which grants do not cover and which are needed to facilitate research.
  • Increases resources and reach for critical clinical trials and testing.
  • Leads to scientific breakthroughs powerful enough to save lives.

Thanks to vaccines, diseases such as polio, yellow fever, smallpox, and many others no longer threaten millions of lives. Experts at the Emory Vaccine Center are working to expand that list.

In addition to infectious diseases, we are working on vaccines and treatments for cancer, autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis, organ transplant, neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s, and more.

In other words, the EVC team is conducting research that has the potential to save lives and you have the potential to help.

As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on the private philanthropy of individuals, corporations, and foundations to continue our vital work. We hope you’ll consider lending support. We leverage private funding to receive large federal grants so that we can translate discoveries made into lives saved. On average, each private dollar the EVC receives is leveraged to acquire 17 additional research dollars in the form of prestigious federal grants.
